Ramsha Ahmad

Ramsha joined Nisar Law Group in 2026 and brings a strong foundation in civil rights litigation, tenant advocacy, and employment law to her role on the intake team. As a Legal Intake Specialist, she is responsible for case screening and client outreach for employment law matters, ensuring that every prospective client receives a thorough and compassionate first point of contact with the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Ramsha gained hands-on litigation experience as a Law Clerk at Criscione Ravala LLP, where she was involved in all phases of litigation, including filing, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. She also served as a Law Graduate at the New York Legal Assistance Group, where she advocated on behalf of indigent clients in housing court proceedings and participated in the the Disability and Civil Rights Clinic at Brooklyn Law, where she argued on behalf of her client before the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

Ramsha’s deep commitment to employment discrimination and civil rights work is reflected throughout her career. She has volunteered with the New York Civil Liberties Union, served as a Court Watcher and Accompaniment Volunteer with the New York Immigration Coalition, and contributed pro bono legal work through Palestine Legal. She is a member of the Muslim Bar Association of New York, South Asian Bar Association of New York, and Nassau County Bar Association.

Ramsha speaks Urdu, allowing her to assist a broader range of clients in New York City’s diverse communities. She received her J.D from Brooklyn Law School, where her studies centered in disability rights, civil rights, and public interest law.
