Leigha Gillespie, Esq.

Leigha Gillespie is an attorney committed to principles of social justice, and believes that legal practice should be in service of people. She understands that the law does not always protect the most vulnerable, and dedicated legal practice requires pushing the envelope and using the law to make the world a more equitable place. Her people-first approach means she handles each matter with compassion, takes the time to understand not merely the facts of the case, but the impact a situation is having on a person’s life, and seeks equitable legal solutions.

Leigha’s practice at Nisar Law Group focuses on civil rights and employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, and wrongful termination claims.

Leigha earned her J.D. from CUNY School of Law and her Master’s in International Affairs from The City College of New York. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
