Maryann Peronti was born in Newark, New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers
University summa cum laude where she earned a BA degree in English Literature/Psychology.
She graduated Georgetown Law Center cum laude. Maryann has extensive litigation
experience in the state and Federal courts of New York and New Jersey.
While she has primarily represented public and private companies and individuals
in connection with business and commercial litigation cases, Maryann's
litigation experience spans across a number of fields: insurance defense
and subrogation; business disputes; product liability; securities and
finance; accountant liability; trusts and estates. Maryann has jury and
non-jury trial experience, as well as experience in arbitrations and mediations.
She has successfully negotiated many substantial and highly complicated
litigation matters for her clients.
Maryann held an in-house role at JPMorgan Chase as a Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and she understands litigation from the client's perspective. She enjoyed having her own business litigation practice for several years. Maryann was also a managing partner in the litigation department of Koerner Silberberg & Weiner supervising the work of associates and paralegals. Maryann held an Of Counsel position at Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. litigating securities arbitrations. She is an avid golfer, and she speaks conversational French.
